Microsoft 365
Connecting Microsoft 365 lets you link files from OneDrive, SharePoint sites and Teams channels to projects and to the organization materials. Max reads them through your account, read-only.
-
Open Profile and find Connected accounts.
-
Click Connect next to Microsoft 365. A Microsoft window opens.
-
Sign in with your work account and accept the permissions: read files you have access to, read site and team names for browsing.
-
The window closes itself with Account connected. Microsoft 365 now shows Connected.
Then link files to a project. The picker searches OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams files together.
What Scale Platform can and cannot do
Section titled “What Scale Platform can and cannot do”- Read the files you link, and nothing else. Site and team permissions are used only to list them in the picker.
- Never modify, share or delete anything: the permissions are read-only.
- Store references and a short classification, not content; see What Max reads.
Connecting for files is separate from the Max Scale Teams app. The Teams app is for chatting with Max and needs no file permissions; see Max in Microsoft Teams.
Disconnect any time under Profile › Connected accounts.
