People and roles

Organization settings › People lists everyone in your organization under Active, Invited and Suspended, with their role, their project count and when they were last seen. Anyone can invite; the other actions are for administrators.

Roles

There are two organization roles.

Role	Can
Member	Work in every public portfolio and in the private portfolios they belong to: create and edit projects, record evidence, run evaluations, manage actions, link files. Invite colleagues.
Admin	Everything a member can, plus: edit the organization profile and materials, create portfolios and manage their access, change roles, suspend and restore people, change organization settings.

A project team is a separate thing from these two roles. Add people on the project’s Team tab, each with a Domain — Business, Design, Product, Sales or Tech — and an Allocation in percent; one of them can be the Project lead. Being on a team is what puts a project in someone’s My work. None of it grants organization rights.

To change a role, open the ⋮ menu on the person’s row under Active and choose Change user role. An organization always keeps at least one administrator: the last one cannot be demoted or suspended until another is promoted.

Invite

See Invite your team. From the Invited tab, Resend invitation sends the email again and Revoke invitation withdraws it.

Suspend and restore

Suspending removes a person’s access immediately and takes them off every portfolio and project team. Their evidence, actions and history stay.

1. Under Active, open the ⋮ menu on the person’s row and choose Suspend user.

2. Confirm with Suspend user. They are signed out within moments.

To bring someone back, open the ⋮ menu under Suspended and choose Restore user. Portfolio and project memberships are not restored automatically; add them again where needed.

Note

There is no delete. Suspension is how a person leaves the organization, and it keeps the record of their work intact.

Organizations with enterprise single sign-on

When your organization signs in through enterprise single sign-on and has Self-managed users turned on, people are provisioned by your identity provider and sign in directly; the invitation form is replaced by a notice saying so.
