Actions and My work

An action is a short, checkable step the team commits to in order to gather evidence for one objective. Actions always hang off an objective, so they carry their context: which project, which category, which level.

Create actions in the objective dialog’s Actions tab, with an assignee and a due date. Tick the checkbox to complete one. Reassign or reschedule in place.

The project’s Actions tab lists every action across all objectives, under Open, Overdue and Done, grouped by assignee or category if you like, and filtered to Me or Anyone. Open an action’s objective for the full context.

Max can add actions in conversation, and proposes them after a reassessment, but does not complete, edit or delete them.

My work is the app’s home page. It lists, per project, the objectives and the actions assigned to you, with counts and a toggle to show completed ones. Tick actions here directly. The sidebar shows the same list.

You see a project in My work when you are on its team, or when something in it is assigned to you. If neither is true yet, ask a colleague to add you to a project team on the project’s Team tab, or create a project.

Actions are planning, not progress: they do not appear on the project timeline and do not affect the maturity score. The evidence they produce does.
