Google Drive

Connecting Google Drive lets you link Drive files and folders to projects and to the organization materials. Max reads them through your account, read-only.

  1. Open Profile and find Connected accounts.

  2. Click Connect next to Google Drive. A Google window opens.

  3. Choose your Google account and allow Scale Platform to see and download all your Google Drive files. This is Google’s wording for read-only access; Scale Platform only ever reads the files you explicitly link.

  4. The window closes itself with Account connected. Google Drive now shows Connected.

Then link files to a project. Google Meet transcripts saved to Drive count as evidence when linked or placed in a linked folder.

  • Read the files and folders you link, and nothing else. No scan of your Drive, no domain-wide access.
  • Never modify, share or delete anything: the permission is read-only.
  • Store references (file id, name, revision) and a short classification, not content. Content is fetched when Max needs it and discarded; see What Max reads.

Disconnect any time under Profile › Connected accounts, or revoke Scale Platform’s access in your Google account settings.
